TOYOTA

toyota operations map

When most Americans think of Toyota, they imagine this car being produced in Japan. In reality, Toyota has been operating in the U.S. for over 58 years. We needed to shift this perception, and at the same time, give Toyota a way to tell their America story online. We turned a yearly print production of brochures into an immersive site experience. We designed a single destination with the latest data told in an impactful way for dealers, consumers, employees, and local communities/governments.

OUR PROCESS

Through user research and business analysis, our team entirely reimagined the operations map to a user-centric solution that visualizes 6,358 key company data points from a national, state and location level. We took all that information and made it more digestible for our users by bubbling up the content in a taxonomy exercise. Followed by wires and designs - adding a mix of storytelling, compelling infographics, and video.
